My name is Anja Gridley, the creator behind the unique art & design you see on this page.

 

My artistic journey began in childhood, nurtured by the privilege of being homeschooled, which fostered a creative education and an environment for exploration. I began taking drawing lessons when I was five years old and simply never stopped practicing. As I grew older, I honed my skills through more advanced art lessons, focusing on mastering realistic pencil drawing. After graduating high-school, I traveled Germany and Africa, broadening my understanding of the universal language of art, and transforming my perspective of culture and creativity. I went on to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Visual Communication at UW River Falls. During my college years and as I entered into my career as a graphic designer, I really wove my artistry into my designs while also bringing graphic elements into my art. 

 

After several years in my profession, I decided to continue my education in fine art and oil painting through the Milan Institute of Art. This transformative step ended up enriching my life more that I could have imagined. ​This well rounded education in art and marketing, quickly unlocked a whole new level of creative mastery in me, which strengthened me as an artist and designer. So after graduating, I launched a business, and moved from small town Wisconsin to big city Minnesota in order to connect with other creatives and seek out new opportunities!

I am consistently inspired by the the transformative power of art and design, and am always eager to embrace on new journey's with both individuals and businesses to use my creative skills in making the world a more beautiful place.
